Creating your first project

Projects keep your work organized. Learn how to create one and what to use it for.

Projects are how Flotira keeps your work organized. Think of each project as a folder for a specific client, campaign, or area of your business — with its own files, AI conversations, and saved outputs.

How to create a project

  1. In the left sidebar, click Projects
  2. Click New Project
  3. Give it a name — something like "Acme Corp" or "Q2 Marketing Campaign"
  4. Click Create

That's it. You're now inside your new project.

What can go inside a project?

  • Files you upload — PDFs, spreadsheets, images, documents
  • Files the AI saves — if you ask Flotira to write a report, it can save it directly to the project
  • Conversations — any chat you start from inside a project is linked to it automatically

Tips for naming projects

Keep project names short and specific. "Client Work" is too broad — "Johnson Consulting Q3" is much easier to find later. You can have as many projects as you like.

What if I don't use projects?

That's fine too. You can chat with the AI without being in a project. Projects are just there when you want to keep things organized.
