Connecting your Google account

Link Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and more so Flotira can work with your real data.

Connecting your Google account lets Flotira work directly with your email, calendar, and files. Once connected, you can ask things like:

"What meetings do I have this week?" "Draft a reply to the email from Sarah about the proposal" "Create a Google Sheet with this data and share it with my team"

How to connect Google

  1. Go to Integrations in the left sidebar
  2. Find the Google section
  3. Click Connect Google Account
  4. A Google sign-in window will open — sign in and click Allow
  5. You'll be returned to Flotira and the connection will show as active

What permissions does Flotira request?

Flotira asks for access to:

  • Gmail — read and send emails on your behalf
  • Google Calendar — read your events and create new ones
  • Google Drive — create and manage files the app generates
  • Google Docs, Sheets, Slides — create and edit documents
  • YouTube (optional) — upload and manage videos

You can grant all of these in one step during the sign-in flow.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Flotira only accesses your Google data when you ask it to. It does not read your emails in the background, scan your calendar continuously, or store your Google data beyond what's needed to complete your request.

Disconnecting Google

To disconnect at any time, go to Integrations, find the Google section, and click Disconnect. You can also revoke access from your Google account settings at any time.

Common issues

Connection failed? Try opening the Integrations page in a regular browser tab (not incognito) and try again.

AI says it can't access my email? Make sure you completed the Google sign-in and that the connection shows as "Connected" on the Integrations page.
