Importing contacts from a CSV file

Bring your existing contact list into Flotira by uploading a CSV — no manual entry needed.

If you already have a list of contacts in a spreadsheet, you can import them all at once instead of adding them one by one.

How to import a CSV

  1. Go to CRM in the sidebar
  2. Click the Contacts tab
  3. Click the Import CSV button
  4. Select your CSV file
  5. Flotira will import your contacts and show you a summary — how many were added, updated, or skipped

How should my CSV be formatted?

Your file needs a header row. Flotira recognizes these column names:

Column names are not case-sensitive. Extra columns are ignored.

What happens to duplicates?

If a contact with the same email already exists, Flotira will update their record with any new information — it won't create a duplicate.

Tips

  • Export your contacts from your old CRM or email tool as a CSV first
  • Open the file in a spreadsheet app to check the column names before importing
  • You can import as many times as you like — it's safe to re-import updated lists

Common issues

Import failed? Make sure your CSV has a "name" column and that the file is under 5MB.

Some contacts were skipped? Rows without a name are skipped automatically.
